also i 'm not able 2 visualize thje diagram of Q68 ..

diagram is clear ... i hope........

initial energy ( sue to 100 gm particle) = 0.1 . g. 1 = 0.98

now let us suppose the combination of rod & partcle moves up @ angle

applying energy conservation we get

0.98 = ( 0.24 + 0.1) . 9.8 . h

h = 1/3.4

therefore from diagram it is clear

cos @ + h = 1

solve for 2 u will get it 41 degree..( i hv calculated it throught scientific calc.) & its coming
