It will act like a simple pendulum whose bob is the ball and the point of suspension of the ball is the centre of the hemisphere...so the length of pendulum becomes R-r   and hence time period is 2*pi*((R-r)/g)1/2

actually theres a much simpler way to solve this sum


let the sphere be at angle @ form the vewrticla


then    mgsin@-f=ma


and fr=Ia


solving it we get a as  5gsin@/7


now      sin@=x/(r-R)


so  


5gx/7(R-r)=w^2x


so we know w


nice and easy method (sorry dudes for being inactive boradband offf)

write the equation torque=moment of inertia*angular acceleration

then find ratio of theeta/alpha.

note that theeta is small therefore sine a =a.
