Let F,fN and f denote the magnitudes of the contact force , normal force and the friction exerted by the one surface to another kept in contact. If none of these is zero, (a)F>FN (b)F>f (C)FN-f (d)FN-f<F<FN+f I have the answer with me so please explain me the answer completely. Is there anyone to explain me what is inertial and non inertial frame of referance??

i can't understand your (c) option
rest a,b,d are correct.
explanation
normal force and frictional force are always perpendicular.
let them be the sides of a rectangle.
now contact force is diagonal of this rectangle.
you can see that a,b and d easily follow
