A wheel consists of a circular disc of radius a with four circular hole each with a radius of a/4. the center of a holes form a square and each  center is at a distance of  a/2 from the center of the disc .if  m is the mass of the wheel  after the holes have been punched in it what is the moment of inertia of the new wheel .

cal mass of disc if there was no hole. then calculate its MOI.
now cal mass of each small hole and MOI for each hole. now simply substact the MOI of whole ring and four times the MOI of one hole
