Two open organ pipes produce 12 beats per second at 100C.If the temperature is raised to 25oC then the number of beats produced per second will

1)increase
2)decrease
3)remain constant

Both velocity and lengths will change, but how this is nullified?

see in organ pipe wavelength will remain same. But as temperature increases velocity of sound increases and ence frequencies will increase. As beat is difference in frequencies of two pipes it will also increase
