assuming it starts from rest on top of the incline and height=h,
let velocity of m= v along the incline and velocity of M be u in the horizontal direction. assuming friction between incline and ground=0, no net force in the horizontal direction so mvcos@= Mu ( u is in  -ve x direction)
and Since no friction anywhere, energy can be conserved
mgh = (mv2/2) + (Mu2/2)
solve for u,v.

the bigger block would move as you havent mentioned whether there is friction between the ground and the block(usually in such cases,you assume there isnt any friction). when the smaller block slides down the incline,a component of its weight acts on the bigger block causing it to move.the  bsgdabest gave the answer using the variables u,v and h.use his method and also conserve the momentum of the system
