an iron rod of length l is held at an angle x w/h the hrzntl it is heated at its midpoint till it rises to a temp of 30C then definitely the upper  part will bend then find the angle made by the rod w/h hrzntl???????

The only concept that came to my mind after a long time is :
 
 
Heat provided = Work done in bending the rod
 
mcT = Torque*
 
 
But i don't think it fits on the question.
 
 
Please tell me if i am right or wrong.
