one syllable = 1/10 second which is equals to minimum duration between two sounds so that they can be recognized by human ear .

the echo repeats two syllables
one syllable is 1/10 second
therefore two syllable is equal to 1/5 sec

speed = 330 m/sec

therefore distance travelled = speed * time =  330 * 1/5 = 66
