Does friction always oppose the motion of the body? If not please give the examples of the situations where friction causes the motion i.e, friction is in the direction of motion.

friction opposes relative motion between two bodies & not motion of the body for eg: when one block is kept on another block & the upper block is given some velocity then lower block moves due to friction

Yes it causes the relative motion between the surfaces and not the motion of any body. The diagram given by biki is sufficient to explain your answer.

Friction only opposes relative motion between bodies. Example of a case where friction is in direction of motion is WALKING. While walking, we move forward, but our foot pushes backward and to prevent the foot from slipping back, friction acts in the forward direction, which is, the direction of our motion.

no my dear friction does not opposes motion always some time it support it .for eg. any vehicle runs only when frictional force gives it a reaction force
