A block is about 2 slide down an inclined plane & its inclination 2 d horizontal is . If nw a 5 kg block is put on d block will it slide down d plane? Why?

Arey normal force (in the second case) on the lower block is higher so friction will also be higher. But the question is still very vague.Plz type proper questions,.

c if u mean by ur question "wat angle will the system of 2 masses slide down" then the ans is again the same as previous..
or do u mean @ wat angle the 5 kg block slides on the 1st block??

tan =  tan       - angle of repose
so if mass is added still the coefficient of friction remains the same ...........so it will still slide down

I think whether the block will slide down or not does not depend upon
the mass of block it simply depends upon value of    and    ..

if u dun understand my prev posts
wat i mean is initially only 1 block...say it slides down @ some angle 'a'...now even after 1 more mass is added on top the sysatem will begin to slide down @ same angle 'a'
