area*velocity= 10 cc/s... area we have from the diameter so velocity is calculated

@ ganesha: consider lik this...let the water move linearly thru a dist x... now the vel will be dx/dt v know tht in 1 sec volume of water flowing thru pipe is 10cc so dV/dt=10 but V=A*x where A is cross-sectional area n x is the dist mopved linearly(picture it lik a cylinder) so dV/dt=A.dx/dt so v get the velocity n then v use thrust force =vdm/dt 2 solve the prob
