Two particles each of mass m start to approach each other from a large separation due to mutual gravitational attraction. When separation becomes r, what is the magnitude of momentum of each particle in the frame of center of mass.

Assuming there is no other body exerting force(s) on the bodies, then there is no net external force.Hence CoM remains at rest.
Now inital energy 0.
0 = mv^2 - Gm^2/r
root(Gm/r) = v
So momentum = mv = root(gm^3/r)
