A car  weighs 1800kg. The distance b/w its front nd back axles is 1.8m
Its centre of gravity is 1.05m behind the front axle . Determine the force exerted by level ground on each front wheel nd each back wheel

Let the force on each front wheel be P   and that on each back wheel be Q
Therefore for linear equilibrium
2P + 2Q = W  -------------- (1)
Where W = 1800 g newton ------------------ (2)
Also the distance between the axles is 1.8 m and that between the front axle and the C.G. is 1.05 m, the distance between the back axle and the C.G. will be 0.75m.
Therefore for rotational equilibrium about C.G. we have
2P x 1.05 = 2Q x 0.75 ------------------ (3)
