the springs have an angle theta betn them and and their down ends r attached to the block and upper ends r fixed.Springs may or may not have equal spring constants.(The whole system is somewhat like an inverted triangle)

please rate me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no one does!!!!!!!!!!

Is the length of two strings equall. And is there any constraint about the direction of pulling.
 
If the lengths are equall and end  is pulled downwards then an extension of dx will produce extensions of dx*cos(theta/2) in each string.
So the net force is resultant of k1*dx*cos(theta/2) and k2*dx*cos(theta/2) with an angle of theta between them.
