how to solve the ques. of contraint motion which involve block on table which is connected by pulley & another block suspended freely under gravitation connected with the same pulley!

problems connected with pulleys can be solved in two ways:
1] constant string or thread or rope length method
2] instantaneous centre method.
Of these, [1] is easier, calculate total length and equate to contant, then differentiate to get velocity and another differentiation will give u acceleration relations.
Once u know accln relation, draw FBD of each part to find the unknown term/s.

in ths problm there z constraint of constant string length.........
as there is constant string lenght so thr z constant velocity ant constant acceleration of both the blocks.........
horizontal vel and acceleration of one is equal to the vertical vel of other...........
