The reason is qiute simple,
Work done = force * distance
As the rock is not moving any distance so, work done (or the energy used) will b zero.
Regarding ur tiredness, the energy that u will use, will go on on the contraxction & expansion of ur muscles.

According to the law of conservation of energy it is going wasted in many ways:
1. Thermal Energy
2. Sound Energy (if any)
3. Friction
4. Expansion and Contraction of muscles
5. Warming of your body
6. Increased Breathing (if excessive force is applied)
7. Increased Heart Rate (if excessive force is applied)

when you push the stone... ur muscles undergoes isometric contraction.. i.e it tries to contract.. but its volume remains the same... so.. stone doesnt move...
but for that blood is transported to the muscles more rapidly so that it can continue trying to push the stone... for transporting blood. it needs energy.. that's where your energy goes...
rate if useful..
