Momentum = MV

Now momentum doubled means that "Velocity is doubled"

keeping into account that "mass remains constant"

Hence new V0 = 2V

K.E = (1/2)M(V0)2

K.E (new) = (1/2)M(2V)2 = 4 (1/2)MV2 = 4 (k.e)

Hence if momentum is doubled then KE becomes 4 times initial KE.

Hope it helps.

Dude just use the damn equation

P=(2mE)^1/2;

P momentum ,E kinetic energy,m mass;

K.E. will become 4 times
as
K.E.=spuare of momentum/2*mass
