Dude, no , if u have a circle rotating , with centre O ...& radius 5 cm .... and u hv a pt P near the top 4 cm from the centre ... and a pt Q above O at 1 cm ...& a pt R near the bottom at 4 cm ..... then by what u are sayin , P & R have the same velocity .... but won't P have a bigger velocity , becoz , it is near the top and so the velocities of the translation and the rotation motion add up , whereas for R , the rotational motion velocity gets subtracted from translational motion's velocity . . . . . . . . .?? . . . . . . . . . If u can understand what I'm trying to say . . . .
