assuming the water displaced due to the object flowa of the beaker
the balance will read 1000g
as the for an object floating mass of water displaced = mass of object
if the displaced water remains in the beaker it will read 1010g

1010g! Mass won't disappear anywhere!Apparent lss of weight is just upward force exerted on solid by liquid!

I think the answer is 1000 g because if we consider the beaker and the boat to be the system then the bouyant force actsas an internal force because it gets balanced with the weight of the boat and hence weight fo the beaker provides weight.

The correct answer is 1010g. Bcoz the ball floats due to buoyant force applied by water on the ball & acc to newton's third law, there will b an equal & opposite reaction acting on the water i.e. on the bottom of the baeker .
