I think it is 1.4m.

5=1/2 gt^2
t=1
drops fall at regular intreval.
intreval=1/5= .2
s=1/2 gt^2
s4=1/2 *10*.6^2
s3=1/2*10*.8^2
subtracting,
ans: 1.4m

time taken for the first drop to fall= [2h/g]^1/2 = 1 sec
since drops fall uniformly, 5 drops fall in 1 sec...
hence 1 drop falls in 1/5 = 0.2 sec
so, third drop falls wen t= 0.4
.: the third drop shud have fallen for 1-0.4= 0.6 sec
dist covered by 3rd drop= 1/2*g*0.6*0.6
                                 =  1.8 m
.: distance of the third drop from the floor= 5-1.8 = 3.2 m

hope u got it...
thank ya..
