there r three laws of motion
1)A physical body will remain at rest, or continue to move at a constant velocity, unless an outside net force acts upon it.
2)Rate of change of momentum is proportional to the resultant force producing it and takes place in the direction of that force.
3)To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

1st law : A body continues in its state of rest or uniform motion, unless acted upon by an external force.

2nd law : Change of momentum is proportional to the force and to the time during which it acts, and is in the       same direction as the force.

3rd law : To every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
