Is it possible to have motion in the absence of force?
Please give answer in detail rather than just saying yes or no.

You need force to initiate the motion. Once initiated, you dont need force to continue the motion (given that no resistive forces are present)

motion with constant velocity does not require force to exist in that state.but as rooney said u need force to initiate even this type of motion and also this is assuming idealconditions i.e. no resistive forces are present
