Hey friends am nt a big genious but i think gettin in2 these components of force and force applied makes the matter more complicated.....
what i think is that...........we are able to walk when our leg balances our weight and when does our legs balance our weich????
when the projection of centre of gravity on the floor falls between the foot...........
when we sit on a chair the position is sumthing like this
_
{ } <= Head
{ |
|| <= Chest
||
(x)==== <= Knees
||
||
||_ <= foot
The Cengtre of Gravity Lies sumwhere near the poin named 'x'..............so the projection of the centre of gtavity on the floor is far away from being within the foot(distance of projection of Centre of gravity from foot is aproximately equal to the length of the femur bone(from point named x to knees) which is the longest bone in da humans)
By bending or by taking the feets back......what the person tries to do is that...he/she tries to have the projection of the centre of gravity through his/her feet which would enable her to balance the weight of the body.
(because on bending a part of the weight of the body moves forward and the centre of gravity get displaced a bit towards the direction of bend.)
SO what i beleive is its all coz of the shifting projection of centre of gravity and not coz of components of forces and all.....its too simple and makin it complex is meaningless.........
