let the acceleration of block A be a1 and block B a2 and the tension in string attached to A be T.
this implies the tension in string attached block B as 2T.
by using virtual work principal 2Tx2=Tx1
2a2=a1
5g-2T=5a2
T=2a1
5g=2T+5a2
5g=13a2
a2=5g/13
a1=10g/13

acceleration of A=2a
& dat of B =a
.....so applying newtons 2nd law...
on B in y- direction......we get...
5g-2T =5a...........1.......since...B is cuming downwards...
on A in x direction....
T =2*2a
=4a...
so substituing T =4a...in ..1
we get....
5g - 8a =5a...
thus....a = 5g/13..
...........
thus ...for A ..acc...is 10g/13..
& for B ,...is....5g/13..
hope u r clear....
