No dude, you are not going slow?. In fact, you will complete the portion in time, probably B4 June (if you go at this rate)?. Try to solve 1 chapter in a week form HC Verma. You will even have to solve irodov after you finish HC Verma. And do not neglect Chemistry and Mathematics if you are through with Physics!!!

Even try D C Pandey after you finish with Verma? Irodov has some of the questions which are out of IIT syllabus

no dude, u r not slow, but fast infact,  if u have gone through the chapters thoroughly, i suggest u dont neglect other 2 sub especially maths (probably the toughest), and maths will be very useful in solving physics prob, try arihant for chem, for physics try interactive physics and maths u have the widest range

I think you are going at a pretty good pace but you can surely increase your pace as you also need to solve other books. I'd suggest that you cover up the topics from other books also, like DC PANDEY or Irodov, etc.

For IIT preparation I suggest you to go by following schedule in
each and every subject. Try finishing major of portion in 11
Approx. 60%

1)Start first with Vectors. As they are used simultaneously in each and

every question of Physics , I mean to say that the vectors are used as an

alternative method in almost every sum which seems impossible or must

say dificult to solve.

2)Then you must start with Basic Calculus , Kinematics , Physical Chemistry .

This is so because Physical may be tougher for you and the remaining

are compatratively easier to do.

3)Now in Physics you can go with the following order :-

Projectile in kinematics , Forces , Newton's Laws of motion (including

the concept of pseudo force) , Friction , Work and energy , Conservation

of mass,Momentum and also including Collisions , Optics .

Now you should do Circular motion with Rotational so that you feel

easy. ( for XI this much is enough )
End your Physics with SHM , Gravitation , and elasticity with fluid

mechanics.

MATHS :

1)go with the following order :

Calculas , Quadratics (very important) , Graphs ,Trigonometric full

complete,Logarithmic functions , Straight lines as these are used

frequently, Familyof lines , Binomial theorem , sequence and series,

Complete full functions,Determinants , matrices , Complex numbers ( enough for XI )

must be done when you do Determinants.
( enough for XI )

Now end with Ellipse ,

Hyperbola , Circles , Parabola and make sure b4 starting the ending do

Circles first.

Chemistry ; --

1)physical ( full )

2)inorganic ( 40 % inorganic )

3)Organic

Hope you find it useful .
Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the order given by the threads above is easy to follow
but once u complete all the books then dont forget to add the ICING to ur prep by solving past years IIT PAPERS
CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!

I THINK U R MAINTAINING A GUD SPEED. BUT MAKE SURE U REMEMBER ALL THE CONCEPTS AND WORK OUT PROBS EVERYDAY IN ALL THE CHAPTERS, ATLEAST ONE.
