buddy, don't take much tension of mechanics as very very less questions come from it. if u really want to do then do rotational and SHM.

Mechanics is quite an important topic... Many questions come from it... You have so many concepts combined in a question... and mostly it will involve some concept of mechanics too... don't neglect it...
HCV is the best for mechanics. I suggest you follow hcv rather than resnick

Will nip in at times to solve problems :)

Well Mechanics is really very important. I say you should go for the following books in "Mechanics": 1)HC Verma (Vol.1 and Vol.2) 2)DC Pandey Mechanics -Vol.1 and Vol.2 3)Arihant (optional) OOPS (editing) Did not see that to be covered in Four months. Complete The topics like SHM,Rotation,Kinematics(Easy), from the above books that I ahve mentioned . You also should read the summaries regarding the topics like: Work, power&Energy. Momentum and its conservation (Really imp) Hope you find it useful. Cheers!!!!!!!!!@@@!!!!!!!!!!

Always available for help !
But Remember Don't hesitate to ask a good Question but
Be damn serious for Questioning a weak one.

165 days are left. what u expect him to leave his crucial revision n go for mechanics (a relatively newer topic)? n see papers of last few years . u will find that i m right as except Rotational n SHM there r no as such phenomenal questions of mechanics............

HCV is good enough. If you are able to solve 80% of the problems in HCV, you will sail through JEE physics
