A body starts slipping down an incline and moves half meter in half sec.how long will it take to move the next half meter.

It is obvious that body has const acceleration a

applying S = ut + (1/2)at²

0.5= 0 + 0.5 * 0.5²* a

a = 4ms^-2

v = u + at

v = 0 + 4*0.5= 2

for next half sec,u=2

S = ut + (1/2)at²

2t + 0.5*4*(t²) =0.5

solving it ..... t = 0.24 s
