question is abt resonance in open ended and closed pipes
Physics , Mechanics , Kinematics , Newtons laws CircularMotion , Work Power Energy collisions , Rotation , Gravitation , Simple Harmonic Motion , Fluid Mechanics , Materials Wave Sound , Super Position , units dimensions , com momentum , shm , wave sound

now .....i know dat a displacement  ANTINODE  is formed at the end ( or ends in case of both side open pipe)....and antinode is formd at the closed end......but i wanna know why does a pressure node get formed (at open end) and antinode( at closed end).......do not tell me dat dis is because displacement function is the opposite of pressure function ( sin and cos).........but give me a solid reason and if  possible a proof.......secondly if there is a second harmonic then again a pressure node is formed in between...y ???.......a displacement node is formed in open ended pipe ( both side)...in between .....why|??????

deltaP=-B(deltaV/V) =-B(duo y/duo x)

delta P=BKY0COS(wt-kx)

if what i told is right then i have an explanation.when the disp is antinode ,the particles will be vibrating with largest amplitude.as a result the pressure decreases (more empty space between the molecules. ) and is least at displacement node.when the disp is node there the molecular amplitude is least.and everyone is gonna crowd together causing pressure antinode!

 THIS MAY ANSWER MY FIRST QUESTION..............BUT WHEN WE TALK ABT FIRST OVERTONE AND SO ON THE NO OF RINGS INCREASES.......SO HOW COME THERE IS A DISPLACEMENT NODE IN BETWEEN?????  ( IN A BOTH SIDE OPEN PIPE) ......AND SO ON ..........( this was just an example, there are both disp nodes and pressure nodes in both pipes).............is it just because theory says so?

IT IS BECAUSE IT IS JUST VIBRATING IN THAT FASION. I THINK IT IS NOT JUST STATIONARY LIKE A POINT, BOTH THE WAVES ie,THE INCIDENT AND THE REFLECTED WAVES ARE MOVING SIMULTANUSLYIN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AS A RESULT OF WHICH AT THAT PARTICULAR POINT ,THE SUPERPOSITION OF THE TWO WAVES ARE ZERO!
