the vector joining the origin of the reference frame cartesian coordinate system to the position of an object is called its position vector... anythn else u wana noe bout it?

the vector joining the position of a point on a circle (in circular motion) with the centre is called radius vector

Not restricted to circular motion.

The vector joining the position of an object with the origin is the radius vector
