relative velocity!!!!!!
None

TWO TRAINS,EACH HAVING SPEED OF 34KM/HR, ARE HEADED TOWARDS EACH OTHER ON SAME STRAIGHT TRACK.ABIRD THAT CAN FLY 58KM/HR ,FLIES OFF THE FRONT OF ONE TRAIN WHEN THEY ARE 102 KM APART AND HEADS DIRECTLY FOR THE OTHER TRAIN. ON REACHING THE OTHER TRAIN IT FLIES BACK TO FIRST TRAIN AND SO FORTH.(A)HOW MANY TRIPS CAN THE BIRD MAKE FROM ONE TRAIN TO OTHER BEFORE COLLISSION? (B)WHAT IS THE TOTAL DISTANCE THE BIRD TRAVELS?

distance travelled by the bird=time * speed
time taken by the trains to meet each other =time for which the bird has travelled
102/(34+34)=102/68
distance=102/68*58
we can visualise that the the distance between the trains will go on decreasing if we create an equation we will get x^n*102
when the distance in zero we will get 0=(x^n)*102
answer to this is n = infinity
