well this is i believe not much related to iit course but stiil my curosity forces me to put down this question to you. ok now when a large amunt of energy is released in a short interval of time then a blast occurs but what if just the reverse process occurs i.e. a large amt. of energy being absorbed in small time inteval (say nano secs)

ever heard of a black hole? Or better still, ever seen a whirlpool? The situation will be something like that - massive turbulent currents converging at a single point.

Actually it does happen, or it must have happened before( during big bang maybe). Because those unstable elements like radium must have been formed at some point from other elements.
Bigger doubt: why is this in the mechanics section?

arre if it happens in the atmosphere only to black hole to nahi hoga, but yes whirlpool can be a possibiity but to fir wot will happen to that reverse bomb ( i mean asi n a bomb disintegrates n gets destroyed)
