Suppose u displace bloc A by x,
bloc B and bloc C will displace by x/ 2 .
so now net force on the mass m
=kx+(kx/2)^2+(kx/2)^2
=2kx
ma=2kx

=2k/m
T=2pi2m/k

its not ycos45+ ycos 45
its not lik each contribtes and they get added up...
total itself is y cos 45 only
the 2 ycos45 components r parallel basically they dont get added up n all

i think the masses B and C get balanced over by each other
as they were perpendicular and the resultant is A
so the answer is B
