an aircraft is flying at a height of 3400m above the ground. if the angle subtended at a ground observation point by the aircraft positions 10s apart is 30degrees. what is the speed of the aircraft????

tan60=3400/x x=1963 vel.=x/10 =196.3m/s i think this shud b right if u interchange the angle u get unbeleivable answers

Answer is 196.53 m/s
when the plane is vertically above the height is 3400 m, and after 10 s it covers a certain distance and the angle subtended between the two aircraft positions is 30degrees. so
tan 30 = 3400 / distance covered
distance covered = 3400/root3
also speed = distance /time
speed = 3400/ [root(3) .10]
speed = 340/root3
speed = 196.53 m/s approx
