sir/madam,

i have pradeep publishers phy and che recent cbse board (sidebooks)--and also the oter standard books for comp. .

pradeep books have a section called competition focus, (containing mcq and some theory)----is it any good for competitions????

i also have tmh (phy and maths)--comp. books of 1997---containing mcq true false and subjective problems.

is it worth doing???

which one of the two will be beneficial or are they going to waste my time????

can they compensate for not doing any subjective prob. frm HCVERMA??

Trust me

Pradeeps physics & chemistry are best bt not so much for iit but u can go for their obj books they r good for all exams

Pradeep math is useless go after TMH math

one more thing pradeep obj physics has all the HC verma problems

So this is a 2 in 1 book

ya well me 2 hav pradeeps phy
and tmh...but old version containing both pre mains type... Q of tmh r 2 hard 2 crack.... :(
go 4 r.d.sharma 4 maths(only that level is asked now)+hcv must....(4 core concepts)--resnick/halliday or university physics by sears zemanski-young freedman
but these buks needs 2 much time/dedication of urs but ultimately satisfies u.
all the authors of india frm hcv 2 local 1ce...none hav got their own brains they only cheat frm r/halliday...and ...univ phy.
so make them ur ultimate guides only if u hav got enough time.......else u will b tensed coz finishing them is not a joke....
any probs relating buks nudge me

yaaa pradeep phy and chem books r gud enough, but to prepare for JEE only by this wil b insufficient. There is a lot of repetition of probs in it. and level of questions is also easier.

this book is beneficial for boards and for some easier exams lyk AIEEE,PET etc....

i hv not seen its math book so i cant say nythng bout dat.

H C verma is highly beneficial to make concepts strong....do only obj1 and obj2 of it for fast building of concepts.... HCV subj prob r simpler....u may attempt few of them.....

and plz read frm latest books bcoz JEE pattern has changed a lot....u wil not get feel of jee frm older books....

TMH is ofcourse gud...
But to get d best feel of JEE, get questions of sm coaching institutes........they comprise everythng...from concept building-- to trics for solving probs..

and do d ques. available on goiit...they r vry selected ques.
