 ans is C (1.77cm)

1/2mr^2 = mk^2 K = r/root2 = 2.5 / root 2 = 1.76 so the answer is c

K^ 2 = I / M     for a thin disc passing through centre of mass perpendicular 2 plane of disc   I = MR^2/2=> K^2 = R^2/  2 = >  K = R / 2^1/2   => k =  2.5 / 2^ 1/2   = > K = 1.76 cm

can it be solved by using any other method?

as the mass is given..

I think the method which is generally used ( which has been used above ) is the most efficient method of calculating radius of gyration. Answer is coming correct then what's the need to check out for mass
