the air column in pipe closed at one end is made to vibrate in 2nd overtone by freq=440hz. speed of sound=330m/s. P is mean pressure at any point. P^ is max amplitude of pressure variation.
find length of air column.

Closed pipi in second overtone meaans L =5*lamda/4
+5*v/(4*f) = 5*330/(4*440) = 15/16 meter

At middle of colum amplitude = Pmax*sin(k*L/2)
where K=2*pi*v/f

Put the value to find amplitude
