The general mode of vibration of a pipe closed at one end and open at the other end is given by

N = (2p + 1) C₀ / 4 L ---------------------(1)

Where 2p + 1 is the no. of harmonic. Since only odd number is possible the given frequencies 50, 150, 250 belong to closed pipe.

Therefore

L = 340 / 4 (50) = 1.7 m
