take a component in BC. write v=sqrt(t/u)
where v- velocity of wave
t - tension in string
u - mass/length
write dx/dt integerate it for length l we get time taken to travel from c to b
do same thing for b to a with u diff
and get the ans

arre yaar u can find tension by drawing free body diagram of mass of rope below component
let m be mass of string and l length
u=m/l
take a component at a distance x from free end
mass of rope below component u*x
since equilibrium
so t=mg
