Q) A wire of density 9000kg/m^3 is stretched between two clamps 1m apart and it's length increases by 0.05cm. Calculate the frequency of the fundamental transverse vibration in the wire.
(Y=9*10^10 N/m^2)

given density D = 9000kg/m^3
therefore
= AD
we have Y = stress/strain
Y = (T/A)/(dL/L)
=> T = AYdL/L
velocity of transverse wave in wire = v = root (T/) = root ( Y dL / L D)
putting values v = root (5000).......u can re-chk my calculation
f = v/lambda = nv/2L
for fundamental n = 1
f = v/2L = (5000)/2
