For most of the MCQ type questions, if you are not able to get the answer go for trial and error and substitution. They help a lot especially in MCQs.....

You need to do practice if to master co-ordinate geometry. First go through R D Sharma and then go for Arihant. Arihant is really a good book and there are some direct formulas given there. And well said by purav : go for trial-error and substitution for MCQs.

Shortcut to find out vertices of triangle when mid points are given.(This shortcut is quite obvious, but it helps nonetheless).
see the parallelogram within the triangle. To find out this pt, add the two opp pts [ a1 +a3, b1+b3] now subtract the other pt fm this sum---(a1+a3-a2, b1+b3-b2). Thereby u get one vertex of the triangle. Likewise find out the other vertices.
It is needless to say that these sort of problems donot come in any comp exam. But they r genrally parts of another question.
[rate if u like it]

I have a wonderful solution for you. Refer a good book like Arihant, M L Khanna etc. and make a separate notebook to store all formulae. Write down all the formulae and refer to it when needed. I'm sure you will improve on your coordinate geometry
