what is projectil motion?
Comments (2)
a projectile motion is a motion of a particle projected in to the air.
its path is a parabola its angle of projection is theta.with velocity 'u' it can resolved in to two components i.e on x axis is ucos theta, and usin theta on y axis . its horizontal velocity is 'u cos theta ' which is constrant as there is no accerleration
but there is vertical accleration i.e -g so the vertical velocity changes with time and position. using this we can find max. height reached , time of flight and also range i.e horizontal distance travelled.
