Mechanics is most important to understand for physics.At the end you end up knowing that its just Mechanics in each and every chapter.

its d base of physics n d most fascinating one as well......jus for assumption u can say.......as org is to chem mech is to phy.....covers at least 30-35%......(whole mech....i mean all till fluids n shm)

WELL I BELIEVE THAT DIRECTLY YOU CANT EXPECT MORE THAN 3 QUESTIONS FROM IT BUT IT IS APPLIED IN ALL MOST OTHER CHAPTERS SO ITS WEIGHTAGE IS HIGH ,appx 45%

i have a mesage for you all.i someone has asked a que and he has got his ans.isnt it unfair on his part that he is not rating us.ort he is to selfish to do.rates are not only rates they are an ispiration for other people to help others.

For all practical purposes its weightage is highest in physics. The direct 2-3 questions may be asked but its application is needed in other portions of physics too.
