Plz help Q. A heap of chain is lying on a horizontal table.A small section of the chain is released through a hole in the table. calculate the velocity as a function of the length of the chain hanging vertically.

let the mass of the chain be = M total lenght = L whin l length hangs the centre of mass is at l/2 gain in KE = loss in PE 1/2*M*v^2 = l/L*M*l/2*g v = l*(g/L)^1/2
