WHY IS AM MORE NOISE PRONE??

- It is prone to high levels of noise because most noise is amplitude based and obviously AM detectors are sensitive to it.
In AM as the amplitude is modulated, noise easily enters the system and hence, FM(frequency modulation) is more preferred than AM...!!!!!

frequency depends on sorce only and the amplitude depends on medium...
so...change of medium affects amplitude and not frequency...
|
