NOPE IT ISN'T POSSIBLE FOR A BODY TO HAVE NEGATIVE MASS...BUT I DID COME ACROSS THE NEGATIVE MASS CONCEPT WHILE SOLVING SOME PROBLEMS IN GRAVITATION THOUGH I DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT PROPERLY.....

in a newtonian mechanics,it is considerd that the real body can not have a negative mass......

but the concept of negative mass is freequently used in the problems of centre of mass.moment of inertia...............

No, a body cannot have negative mass. Its could be negative in hypothetical cases.

Theorotically perhaps a body CAN have a negetive mass, see how

we know that,

m=m0/(1-v2/c2)^(1/2)

=> m02/m2=(c2-v2)/c2

=> m=(m02c2/c2-v2)^1/2

let  v>c  and  x=m02c2/c2-v2
HERE WE DEFY EINSTIENS LAW OF RELATIVITY

m=(-x)^1/2

and it's graph goes line from origin to minus infinity

But here we defy one of the greatest  scientist's idea
