decay rate- simple ques-
None

in radioactive decay, does the process of decay start instantaneously? ie will its no. of nuclei continuously decline with time?

no of nuclei goes on decreasing although might increse
o do not appreciate with this fact
in a radioactive decay , no of nucleons goes on decresing

for an example beta particles are emmited or say alpha paritcle
then the from one mother nuclei two daughter nuclei are formed
also in beta particle emmision , no of nuclei remains same

i mean
1 radioactive nuclei = 1 daughter nuclei + 1 helium nuclei ( in case of alpha emmision)
