spontaneous emmision is emmision of photon by an electron spontaneously as it is present in higher excited state

stimulated emmision is emitiing photon by an electron with the help of external photon
when external photon collides with electron it stimulates it to give another photon. the photn given is in same phase as of colloided one
hence the no of photon increses rapidly .this process is used in LASER and MASER
