In XOR gate we get high input only when both the inputs are dissimilar.

The truth table is

A B Y=A(XOR)B

0 0 0

1 0 1

0 1 1

1 1 0

It is constructed using AND,OR and NOT.

yeah it is right but one thing to add it gives 1(high) for only odd combinations of one (high) as inputs

else it gives 0 (low)
