In a typical fission reaction the nucleous split in to 2 middle weight nuclei of uneqal masses, which of the 2 has ( Heavier or lighter) has greater kinetic energy ? greater linear momentum.?

here the momentum will be conserved, thrfore, Mv = mV = p where M is heavier particle nd m is lighter one now kinetic energy of lighter one K1= p2 / 2m and kinetic energy of heavier one K2= p2 / 2M clearly K1> K2 hopefully its clear to u
