how does electromagnetic wave theory of able to explain photoelectric effect... Please explain me in simple wordings

Photo electric effect is nt expalined by wave nature of particle....instead it is explain by the particle nature .

According to Planks,   Radiant energy is emitted discontinously in the form of descret packets called quantum.

These packets (photons in case of light) provide energy to only one e-   i.e. it is nt distributed over an area...therefore d energy consumed by an e-  is used in its ejection (threshold energy) and remaining energy is used as its kinetic energy.

Kinetic energy is directy proportional to frequency and no of ejected e- is  directy proportional to intensity of light.
